e-ID law approved at the ballot box
The referendum on the e-ID Act took place on 28 September 2025. The result is as follows:
50.39% Yes
49.61% No
49.55% Voter turnout
The e-ID team is looking forward to continuing to promote electronic identity and offering users, authorities and companies a secure and trustworthy e-ID in the swiyu wallet as soon as possible.
