Will other electronic credentials follow soon?

Subject to the outcome of the referendum, the e-ID will be introduced in the third quarter of 2026 at the earliest. After that, the electronic driving licence is also expected to become available. This is valid only in Switzerland. To apply, you need an e-ID and the swiyu app.
